Even if you're jaded with IMAX screens, the all-enveloping sphere of the OMNIMAX is quite special, making excellent use of one of the city's biggest, most characteristic and most photographed landmarks, the golf ball-like protuberance that is the Science World dome. The screen itself is an extraordinary 27m (89ft) in diameter and five storeys high, while the resulting image is three times larger than 70mm and ten times larger than the standard 35mm print you normally see in theatres.
