Time Out says

Get a taste of history at Glen Ewin Estate situated in the Adelaide Hills, just 40 minutes from Adelaide's CBD. Established in 1843, the estate was used to make jams before it became a vineyard, and is now home to thousands of beautiful fig trees.

Try to make it down from mid-February to early April and explore the land as you pick figs. Or sample its fig infused gin, or fig tea. The venue also has a cellar door on site where you can enjoy a tasting. Check out the Glen Ewin Tasting Flight which includes its Gatehouse, Pot and Still ranges.

One of the first vineyards to exist in South Australia, it now offers people the chance to celebrate their milestone occasions or weddings on the grounds. There’s two unique venues to choose from, and a bistro for those looking for a feed which provides a fresh, seasonal menu with plenty of contemporary Australian dishes to choose from.

Not looking for a big meal? Sit back with some coffee and cake, or a cheeseboard and wine while you take in the view. The cellar door is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm, and the bistro is open for lunch from midday to 2:30pm on Thursdays and Fridays, and breakfast and lunch on weekends from 9am to 2:30pm.
