The Britannia overlooks the infamously complex Dequetteville Terrace roundabout, scene of many a low-velocity bingle. OK, so it’s hardly an LA freeway junction, but it’s bamboozling nonetheless. The locals in the front bar have seen it all before, and will turn their gaze back to the darts, the pool table and the beer garden.
