Tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice. It’s a simple yet delicious recipe – so delicious, in fact, that it’s made the Margarita one of the top ten most-ordered cocktails in the world. First made in Amatitán in central Mexico exactly 150 years ago, Herradura Tequila is the award-winning, 100 percent blue agave tequila that is perfect for celebrating National Margarita Day on Saturday, February 22. But one day is never enough, and the Margaritas will keep flowing throughout February, with venues in and around Adelaide offering special deals and limited-edition drinks made with Herradura’s premium spirits. Here’s where to raise a glass during National Margarita Month. Chin chin!
Here's where to find them around Adelaide:

If you fancy yourself a bit of a mixologist, you can also mix up an easy Horseshoe Margarita at home using just three ingredients. When the recipe is this simple the quality of the ingredients is paramount, so make sure you’re using fresh limes and hacienda-made Herradura Tequila.

30ml fresh lime juice
15ml agave syrup or simple syrup
1. Pour ingredients into an ice-filled shaker
2. Shake well

Happy Margarita Month!
