Food is the main thrust at the Kentish (if this was the early 2000s we’d be calling it a ‘gastropub’). Expect the likes of tempura soft-shell crab and lamb kofta with charred carrot and tabouleh. The wines are none too shabby either – a tightly edited list of SA hits. Plus, it’s Burger Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, a $22 Rump-and-Red on Wednesdays, and the clincher – a Friday-night meat raffle.
