For years there was just one decent café in Port Adelaide and nowhere else to eat that wasn’t a dodgy, sticky-carpet pub. Praise be: now there’s Low and Slow American BBQ. A city food-truck outfit that’s realised the untapped potential of Port Adelaide, Low and Slow has put down concrete roots here. Food-wise it’s all ribs, wings, brisket, burgers and kranskies, smoked over American oak and hickory and served with house-made pickles, slaw and sauces. Carnivorous good times!
