Substance beats style at this family-owned, vegan-friendly Vietnamese eatery in Ferryden Park
Ferryden Park may seem a long way from anywhere of note (it's 9km northwest of the CBD in case you wondered). But the Vietnamese cooking at Mai Kitchen is reason enough to visit.
Adelaide’s Vietnamese restaurants have a habit of turning the least likely of venues into successful business ventures. Mai Kitchen is no different: the décor is typically underwhelming, but the food wins the day. Five-spice tofu with sweet soy and bok choy is a dish that shouldn't go overlooked, and there's a dedicated menu for vegans too.
