It’s a split-level affair, with tables on both tiers. Order your noodle soup, chicken roti chenai or char kuey teow at the counter and assume your assigned seat. The indignity of the fluoro lighting will soon be forgotten once your meal arrives: generous, authentic and sublimely flavoured. If you had a hangover when you got here, you won’t when you leave.
