FRONT GALLERY: Earth Coincidence Control Office - Kieron Broadhurst and Jack Wansbrough (WA)

Earth Coincidence Control Office by Kieron Broadhurst and Jack Wansbrough tracks the idiosyncratic history of a common language between humans and dolphins. Born out of an LSD fuelled, NASA funded research project in 1965, it finds its way to our shores via a network of conspiracy and coincidence.

BACK GALLERY: Studies of Nature - Ash Tower (SA)

Studies of Nature memorialises the scientific papers that have been retracted (withdrawn) from the journals of the Nature research group. Examining how these artefacts are separated from their knowledge system provides a way to examine (and value) the labour and craft that is involved in making scientific papers.

FELTdark: Shifting Interior Cavities - Gail Hocking (SA)

Shifting Interior Cavities is an ephemeral in-situ work exploring body/materiality/nature as a performative participant to initiate an awareness of an ongoing interconnection. Through the documentation of the work I hoped to activate the way we are interconnected in relation to each other. This activation could create alternate ways of ‘being’ in the world.
