Exhibition runs 6 - 22 October

FRONT GALLERY: Yellowing - Teelah George (WA)

This body of work incorporates found object, textile and painting to expand on ideas of material volatility. The title, Yellowing, suggests both the colour, yellow, whilst also referring to a process of material change occurring over time. Here this play on wording is explored as both an intended and inevitable outcome as a way to question making and material hierarchies. The works themselves become markers of time spent, constructed through the duration of the seasons or the makers hand, coming together as a way to expand on the inherent entropy in material things and the stories they ponder.

BACK GALLERY: hCoK - David Attwood (WA)

hCoK is an exhibition of new works from Perth based artist David Attwood. In an antagonistic exploration of the socio-politics of place and community, the exhibition takes gibe at the Port Adelaide Football club, its paraphernalia and iconography.

FELTdark: Idolatry Ratio - Benjamin Portas (VIC)

Scenes display fragmented brand icons, blurred with fictitious product predictions. These current visions may be our distorted view of excess information and compounded aesthetics, or a future study of artefacts detached from creator and original intent.
