Inner Alchemy Energy Practices for Harmony and Happiness
This short 30 minute workshop will give you a brief introduction to the ancient practice of Qi Gong in three ways:

1. A description of Qi Gong.

2. Qi Gong warm-ups • sharing some ways to energise yourself for optimal daily function.

3. The Inner Smile • an inner alchemy energy practice to:
* bring internal harmony,
* put you in touch with your major organs,
* help you to develop more subtle awareness of their functions,
* and understand, feel and develop the power of the mind to influence the processes of the body.

Workshop Facilitator: Sarah Divine Universal Healing Tao Qi Gong Instructor from Universal Healing Tao - Adelaide

Sarah began her journey into alternative healing modalities, meditation and energy work over 25 years ago in the UK, where she grew up. Zen meditation, yoga, massage therapy, Body Electronics, and Vipassana meditation are among her list of practices and qualifications from her time in the UK and her subsequent five years in Germany.

After suffering a slipped disc while training for a marathon, she was prompted to reconsider her relationship with her body and her knowledge of its workings, and was encouraged to delve more deeply into understanding the interconnection between the physical form, the subtle energy body and the spirit body, and all of these in relation to the external forces of the world and the universe.

Seven years ago, while living in an Adelaide community dedicated to learning about and practising the healing & alchemical arts, she was introduced to Qi Gong (pronounced ‘Chee Gong’) and Taoist practices & philosophy, quickly discovering potential there for taking charge of one’s own vitality, health and temperament. In early 2015, she studied intensively for one month with one of the world’s most foremost Qi Gong Masters, Mantak Chia, becoming a certified instructor, and has subsequently offered workshops and classes in the Adelaide area.

Sarah just returned from the Tao Garden in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she continued the learning process, so she could introduce a wider variety of practices to people of all ages who are keen to discover how they can improve their well-being from within.

“Qigong is the art and science of refining and cultivating internal energy.”

— Ken Cohen, The Way of Qigong: The Art and Science of Chinese Energy Healing
