Society Of Beggars are touring their eagerly anticipated EP ‘An EP Called Night’ and will be bringing their racous live show to The Ed Castle on Saturday 17th June. Joining them on the night will be the amazing Neon Queen (Melb) and local legends Neon Tetra. Entry is $10 and doors open at 9:00pm.

The band released the single An Angel Called Night last year, which received national and local radio play across the country. The success of this release saw the band embark on their "A Tour Called Night” national tour, gaining notoriety as one of Australia’s most energetic and visceral live acts.

The alternative rock outfit sought out famed legendary producer Lindsay Gravina (Roland S. Howard, The Living End, Violent Soho) and their hard work was rewarded with ‘An EP Called Night’ - A six-track EP that meshes the feel of 90’s Alt-Rock with a modern groove and new uniquely Australian vocal style.

To celebrate the release of ‘An EP Called Night’ and new single Old Haunts, the band are doing it all over again with a 9 date tour of shows that are sure to cement their growing reputation as a must see live act.

"They are a band that sounds like the love child of Interpol and Queens of The Stone Age. It’s a little industrial, but doesn’t go as far as metal. It’s angular without being 80s, upbeat without being dance and yet it’s heavy without being AC/DC. " - GigBill

"The vocals hit hard and the depth and solid craft within the instrumentation makes An Angel Called Night an intriguing and entertaining listen.” - The AU Review
