This START day highlights the world of decorative arts. Take a family tour, make your own decorative work of art and be adorned with a glitter tattoo. Hear the tale of 'Where Things Begin' in storytelling performances and enjoy vignette performances from Shakespeare’s 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream'.

Children’s Tours
11am, 11.30am, 12 noon, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm & 2 pm
Family tours will give a new perspective of the world of decorative arts exploring the work of artist Zoe Kirkwood in the Collections Project.
Location: Meet in the Santos Atrium

START Art Workshops
Make art from craft to create your own decorative ornament or adornment.
Location: Radford Auditorium

Decorative Art on You
Be adorned with a glitter tattoo.

Storytelling Performances, 'Where Things Begin'

Hear this funny, magical story set at the Christmas Pageant, the pageant is going smoothly until Georgie lets go of her balloon. Find out if her big cousin can save the day in 'Where Things Begin'.

Bottom’s Dream
12noon & 1pm
See the premiere of a new 20 minute vignette from ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ – Bottom’s Dream, brought to life by ‘The Raw Shakespeare Project'.

START Sounds
Young guitarists from the South Australian Youth Guitar Ensemble perform their classics for START.

Art Gallery Food + Wine
