Austin City Limits has been teasing the release of both the lineup and tickets for a while now, and after saying they'd be available this month, they've announced a date just passed the deadline: May 1. That's sly, ACL, real sly.

Still, it's only a week from today, meaning we can hold onto our credit cards just a little longer. Starting at 10am on May 1, three-day tickets will become available for both weekends—$255 plus fees. Three-day VIP tickets will also be going on sale at that time for a cool $1,100 plus fees, while one-day tickets will become available at a later date. Have an American Express? ACL is offering VIP and Platinum tickets for AmEx holders starting tomorrow, April 25, at 10am.

May 1 is also the day when they'll be releasing the lineup, and while nothing has been solidified yet, there's plenty of speculation. Leaked tour dates for Travis Scott include both ACL weekends, and Arctic Monkeys is playing in Dallas and Houston right around ACL dates (plus, they're playing Lollapalooza this year). The National's tour lines up with the fest—and they're also playing Lollapalooza, a good indication that other festivals are on the horizon. Cardi B is slated for a ton of major festivals this year—is ACL in the cards, too? This is a fun game, guys. Guess we'll have to wait until May 1 to see if we're actually on to something or not.
