1001 Nights Orchestra At Sxsw

Just confirmed our invitation to be back to perform at SXSW Music Festival this year on March 18th at the Russian House! So exciting! This will be a great lineup of bands from around the world including: Two opening bands from Azerbaijan, Diwan Saz, and a hip hop closing act. The showcases start at 8 pm with 1001 Nights Orchestra going on at 11:30 pm. For this set we will present our "beats class" set, high energy dance songs from the Middle East & the Balkans organized as one song per beat cycle from 2/4 to 18/4 time-allowing. We would love to have all our fans and friends to come out and support us at our showcase! Remember that it is not necessary to have a SXSW wristband to enter.
