1st Annual Swig N' Swine Austin Presented By The Bon Vivants

It is that time again!! Swig n' Swine is ready to roll again!! The Bon Vivants, Esquire, and Imbibe Magazine are excited to invite you to the 1st Annual Swig n’ Swine Austin with during SXSW at Half Step. This year we've got 9 massive barrels of punch crafted by The Bon Vivants, games, some other funny tricks, live sets by - Down and Outlaws, Jesus Sons Sexx, Jacuzzi Boys Canned Beets and more to be announced... ripping all afternoon and tons of pig and sides being cooked up by master chefs. Of course Scott Baird will be throwin it down. But joining him will be - Joshua Jones of Salt & Time Butcher Shop and Salumeria, Alexis N. Chong from Sway, and Jesse Griffiths from Dai Due... KILLER LINEUP. There are a few hundred tanks blasted with original art work by the man, Austin local artist Xavier Schipani and printed by the the DUDES Babylon Burning Screen Printing, Inc. as well as a few more limited Chrome Industries bags and red bandanas coming out to Austin, and we plan on selling every one of them for the kids! Now beginning its 6th year as an event series, Pig & Punch / Swig n' Swine has donated $146,934.68 for charter schools in NY, NOLA and PDX, and Miami (now the Austin kids get some love too!) and has coordinated 5,315 cumulative man hours of volunteer labor at those schools. You can drink, eat, and dance to your heart’s content. Also included in that price, while supplies last, you can pick up one of Xavier's rad tanks! All the money raised through tickets / sales of this year’s awesome Swig n’ Swine tanks, bags, bandanas, and extra donations, will be donated to Austin’s own KIPP Austin who believes that every child, regardless of economic background has the right to an exemplary education and will empower their students to thrive in and graduate from college, choose their paths, and positively impact their communities. A large group of bartenders also just volunteered at their campus for a day on March 1st... so they can get the money and the muscle! Come out, have a blast, and support the cause.
