Time Out says

Join us for Trust. Respect. You’ll start the day with breakfast and a morning training session to prepare you for action. Network and get to know fellow advocates over lunch, and in the afternoon, we will visit lawmaker’s offices at the Capitol. You’ll get a chance to speak with elected officials – and make your voice heard when it comes to reproductive health, rights and justice in Texas. After visiting with lawmakers, we’ll make a statement in front of the Capitol with a rally and press conference. Last but not least, everything about this event is FREE! Sign up by clicking on "tickets" and entering in your information. Anti-choice Texas lawmakers lost our trust when they slashed funding for reproductive health care and destroyed access to abortion in this state. We trust Texans to make their own reproductive health decisions, so we’re calling for policies that show respect for all Texans and restore access to the full range of reproductive health care in our state. A separate student training is February 25 from 5 – 9 PM on the UT Campus. If you are interested we can get you in touch with the Texas Freedom Network.
