Plus this year, we're showcasing our gorgeous J-Fashion Show! ------------------------------------------------------- Hours of SXSW Gaming Expo Friday, March 13 | 12-8pm Saturday, March 14 | 12-8pm Sunday, March 15 | 12-8pm Cosplay Competition and J-Fashion Show Register: Before March 15 | 3pm on Sun. Cosplay Competition and J-Fashion Show Pre-judging: March 15 | 2:30pm/3pm/3:30pm Line-up: March 15 | 4:45pm Showtime: March 15 | 5:15pm-6:30pm ------------------------------------------------------- Cosplay Competition Rules: 1. Sign-up at the Cosplay Booth 2. All entrants are allowed 30 seconds on stage; walk-on only, no skits. 3. Keep it PG-13! No nudity, foul language, inappropriate themes, etc. If you have doubts or questions, contact us directly to make sure. 4. Anyone in costume may enter the competition, but the entrant must be pre-judged to be eligible for an award. 5. At least 75% of the costume must be constructed or heavily modified by the competitor to be eligible for an award. 6. Models may be used, but the award may only go to the creator of the costume and that person must be present during the pre-judging. 7. If it goes on stage with you, it must come off stage with you. 8. Any jumping, tumbling, or stunts need to be cleared with us before your performance. 9. Group entries are limited to 10 people unless otherwise cleared with us first. 10. No live steel. Nothing loaded, period. Replicas are fine, so long as they follow Fed regulations, ie: orange tips. Pre-Judging: - Only Competitive Entries will be judged. - Non-competitive Entries will NOT be judged. - Competitive entries will be assigned a time slot (2:30pm, 3pm, or 3:30pm) and will be pre-judged during that time. - Please show up during your assigned time slot for pre-judging!
