Gold Field Hotel Apparitions is the result of a vintage analog beat machine, a bass guitar, psychedelic mushrooms, and downtime between nearly constant touring/recording featuring Bill Stevenson (bassist Black Joe Lewis), Joe Lewis and Michael Brinley (guitars), and Aaron Perez (drums, Ume/BOYFRNDZ). The results are songs that blur the lines of hypnotic, smooth stoner funk, RnB song structures, touches of garage and prog...or as one admirer called it "artsy fartsy". And yeah, the Apparitions can jam.
