Join Preservation Austin for three Saturday morning workshops (July 11, July 18, and July 25) focused on sustainably retrofitting historic and recent past homes for the 21st century. Experts from across the fields of architecture, preservation, energy efficiency, sustainable design, and landscape design will discuss the latest methods and technologies for greening your home, making you the envy of your neighbors and producing big savings on your energy bills! Whether you’re interested in solar panels, moisture prevention, or xeriscaping, we’ve got something for you.

Our Saturday, July 25 workshop will deal with water and sustainable landscapes! Speakers include Positive Energy consultant Kimberly Llewellyn; Texas Water Development Board Deputy Executive Administrator Dr. Robert E. Mace; landscape architect Eleanor McKinney; and Innovative Water Solutions Co-Founder Chris Maxwell-Gaines.
