Kinderliminal is a collaborative/interdisciplinary theatre and dance piece that explores the human emotion of fear and how the journey of having to overcome it can causes us to grow. The story explores an enchanted forest as three people (two early twenty-somethings, and one younger sibling) venture into the forest to find a cure for their dad's supposedly incurable disease. Once inside, they are confronted with things they have never seen before, and that will challenge their own beliefs and bonds to one another. As they trek through these woods, with unknown dangers lurking ahead, they attempt to escape, but at what cost. These woods, brought to life by almost magical set-design, will allow us to follow along through the dark, winding, and elaborate woods. However, they soon realize that they are not alone and they meet a collection of unnerving and interesting characters that will either help or halt their journey. The auditions will be on 2/7 in 2.116, from 12-6 pm and you do not have to have anything prepared, but please do bring a resume and headshot. We will be providing sections of the script for readings. However, please do wear clothes that are comfortable to move in. The show is set to open at the end of April and (hopefully) run for two weekends in the Offcenter.
