the Montopolis community is invited to meet the artists commissioned to design and fabricate an artwork for the Montopolis Neighborhood Center. A preview of the proposed artwork will be on view on February 19, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Montopolis Neighborhood Center located at 1416 Montopolis Drive in southeast Austin. The artists will be on hand to listen to comments and answer questions. Light refreshments will be served.
The artist team of Amy Bunker, Foster Talge, and Travis Seeger were selected to build an exterior artwork for the Montopolis Neighborhood Center. The goals of the public art project are to develop a family-friendly experience that is integrated into the campus, to engage facility users, and to reflect the diverse community served by the Center.
