Paper Cuts Film Fundraiser

We are raising money to fund the production of the local Austin independent film, Paper Cuts - we need your help to make this film a reality! She moved away from when she was 18 years old, got a job, got her own place, and got a life of her own. To the outside world she has it all together. When Jess receives an invitation to her mother's wedding, she is forced to confront the life she left behind. Old issues with depression, self harm, eating, and anxiety float to the surface. She discovers that she has not only been fooling others into thinking she was okay, but she has fooled herself as well. As she scrambles to keep up her facade of being successful and content, her personal demons threaten to overwhelm her. Through strained interactions with her mother, step-sister, and ex-boyfriend, Jess starts to crack. In order to hold on to everyone she holds dear, Jess must admit to herself and others that her life isn’t as complete as it seems.
