Toastmasters International: Open House!

Does public speaking make you nervous? Do you need to practice for that big project or presentation but don't know where to start? Let us help! So what is Toastmasters International? Toastmasters is an internationally acclaimed organization that focuses on public speaking. We help people who might have speech impediments, are non-native English speakers, or just plain apprehensive about speaking in front of people. We are also a great resource for debaters and other people with lots of previous speaking experience to maintain and refine their habits. We provide a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere for you to practice getting comfortable talking in front of others and give constructive criticism to help you improve. Members find that they steadily improve through weekly meetings and foster a great and supportive community that goes beyond public speaking. If you're on the fence about it, come see what we're all about at this pressure-free introduction! Our Open House will be on Monday, February 23rd from 6:00pm - 7:00pm in GDC 2.502! No experience is needed and anyone can come, so bring your friends and see what Toastmasters can do for you! Refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!
