Working In Steel With Kat Cole

Saturday + Sunday, March 7-8, 10-6pm This introduction to the use of steel in jewelry will cover using both sheet and wire, silver solder, brazing, cleaning and finishing techniques on a small scale. We will cover differences in alloys and studio setup needed to accommodate the use of this non-traditional jewelry material. There will also be a slide show on contemporary artists using steel in jewelry. Tuition: $320 + $45 Kit Fee
