Inside, the studio featured a plush king-sized bed facing a flat-screen TV, an ensuite with a separate toilet and rain shower, a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary sparkling water, and a combination of air-conditioning and a ceiling fan to beat the Kimberley heat. My favourite part was the private balcony with two comfy lounge chairs made for soaking up the balmy evening air. I’d recommend booking a ground-floor Pool Terrace Studio to score direct access to the adults-only pool from a private deck, complete with sunlounges and an umbrella.
If total privacy is top priority, opt for one of the standalone bungalows or private villas. These leafy hideaways feature separate living areas, kitchenettes and even their very own courtyards with plunge pools.

You definitely won’t go hungry – or thirsty – at Cable Beach Club. Start your day at Sunset Bar & Grill with a buffet breakfast overlooking the iconic Cable Beach. Beyond standard tropical fruits, yogurt pots, pastries and cereals, the rotating hot station dishes up everything from classic scrambled eggs and pancakes to savoury hits like eggplant dahl, roast duck noodles and tom yum soup. From 4pm daily, you can return to Sunset Bar & Grill for snacks and golden-hour cocktails with front-row views of the Indian Ocean, or kick back for à la carte dinner with a modern Australian steak-and-seafood focus.
Right by reception, Cichetti offers a more laid-back alternative for your morning coffee and light bites. It reopens for dinner too with a modern Italian menu featuring the house specialty Paspaley pearl meat tortellini. Then from Friday to Tuesday nights, Kichi Kichi fires up with contemporary Asian-inspired cuisine.
