Mention “Percy Pig” to any British expat in Australia and watch the instant nostalgia (and maybe a little drooling) kick in. In good news for homesick Brits and sweet-tooth fans, these beloved lollies from the ever-so-fancy British brand Marks & Spencer are finally hitting Australian supermarket shelves this November – along with a bunch of other yummy M&S treats.

Two days ago, the official Percy Pig Instagram posted a reel teasing that the iconic British character – and his equally beloved pal, Colin the Caterpillar – were heading Down Under. The reel has already racked up over 6,000 likes and 300 comments, proving Aussies are stoked about the news.

Marks & Spencer confirmed the rumours yesterday, saying, “We’re bringing the magic of M&S Food Down Under. 🇦🇺✨ From iconic treats to tasty must-haves, your M&S Food favourites are going long-haul – and something delicious is about to land.”

This is a major milestone for M&S, kicking off the expansion of Marks & Spencer Food into Australia and bringing the iconic British gummies to a major Aussie supermarket for the first time. It’s wild to think it’s taken more than 30 years since the original Percy Pig – made from a cheeky mix of berry-flavoured soft jelly and foam – to finally make it Down Under.

From November 19, Coles will be stocked with Percy Pig Fruit Gums and Colin the Caterpillar Fruit Sours – each priced at $6 per bag. The range also includes fan favourites, like Percy Pig Phizzy Pigtails, Percy Pig Piglets, Percy Pig Reversy Percy, Colin the Caterpillar Fruit Gums, Colin the Caterpillar Party Time, Colin the Caterpillar Cola Gums and Colin the Caterpillar Cherry Gums.

On top of that, select Coles stores will also be stocking M&S classics, including Scottish Shortbread, Luxury Gold Tea Bags and The Original Very Moreish Munch Tin. Looks like this little piggy will be making a trip to Coles on November 19 – see you there?
