It’s a big day for the girls, the gays, the theys – and basically anyone who loves music in Australia! Laneway Festival has just dropped its 2026 line-up, with the Chappell Roan headlining the one-day fest on her first-ever national tour. For its milestone 21st birthday, the summer music party has pulled together its biggest line-up yet, featuring 35 per cent more artists (a third making their Aussie debut) and a brand-new East Coast venue.

Joining the ‘HOT TO GO!’ line-up are big-name exclusives Role Model, PinkPantheress and Wolf Alice, alongside homegrown heroes, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Shady Nasty and more. Another sold-out summer is on the cards, so here’s everything you need to know about getting tickets to Laneway Festival 2026. Good luck, babes!

Is Chappell Roan coming to Australia?

It’s the news we’ve been waiting for! Following Charli xcx’s brat summer earlier this year, Laneway is bringing another pop girlie to headline the festival in 2026. Yep, Chappell Roan is leading the line-up, returning to Australian shores for her first visit since her Midwest Princess Tour in 2023.

When is Laneway Festival?

In 2026, Laneway Festival is heading to:

  • Gold Coast – Saturday, February 7
  • Sydney – Sunday, February 8
  • Melbourne – Friday, February 13
  • Adelaide – Saturday, February 14
  • Perth – Sunday, February 15

Where is Laneway Festival?

Laneway Festival is shaking things up in 2026, returning to only two of its former venues: Centennial Park in Sydney and Flemington Park in Melbourne. Over in Perth, it’s moving to Arena Joondalup, while Adelaide will take over the open-air Adelaide Showgrounds. The biggest shake-up is in Queensland: due to developments for the 2032 Olympics, Brisbane’s festival is canned, making way for Laneway’s first-ever Gold Coast edition at Southport Sharks.

Who’s on the line-up for Laneway Festival?

Saddle up, Australia – the 2026 line-up is hotter than ever! Of course, Midwest Princess Chappell Roan is headlining the festival across all five Australian cities, joined by big names like UK pop innovator PinkPantheress, English indie rock band Wolf Alice, American heartthrob Role Model and cheeky Grammy-winning duo Wet Leg. Festivalgoers will also be treated to an exclusive collab from grungy Swedish rappers Yung Lean and bladee.

There are plenty of Australian acts joining the line-up too, including Teen Jesus and the Jean TeasersWisp, Armlock, Blusher, Shady Nasty, Djanaba and The Belair Lip Bombs. Check your city for the full line-up, as some acts are East Coast exclusives.
