Update Friday, October 30: Due to huge demand, Powderfinger have just added Canberra and Hobart dates to the tour, along with new shows in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. The pre-sale for these additional shows starts on Wednesday, November 4 at 10am AEDT, followed by the general on-sale on Thursday, November 5 from 11am AEDT.

In 2010, Powderfinger played their final live show in Australia, marking the end of a legendary 20-year run. Broadcast to millions across television and radio, it was a bittersweet farewell to one of the nation’s most defining alternative rock bands.

Now, after years of speculation, Powderfinger – Bernard Fanning (vocals/guitar), Darren Middleton (guitar), Ian Haug (guitar), John ‘JC’ Collins (bass) and John Collins (drums) – have officially confirmed their return. In 2027, the iconic band will reunite for a major national big-top-style tour.

As one of the few acts to top triple j’s Hottest 100 in consecutive years ("These Days" in 1999 and "My Happiness" in 2000), Powderfinger are set to deliver a setlist stacked with iconic anthems. Find out how to get tickets for Powderfinger’s 2027 Australian tour below.
