It’s time to jet… set! Australia’s go-to budget airline, Jetstar, has launched a massive network-wide sale, offering 280,000 discounted fares to a huge range of domestic and international hotspots. Prices start at just $39 for local trips – about the cost of a bowl of vodka pasta these days – and from $149 for international getaways. How good!

Jetstar’s ‘Fare Play Sale’ kicked off on Tuesday, February 24 and runs until 11.59pm AEDT on Friday, February 27 (unless sold out prior). Travel dates vary by route, but range from mid-March to mid-November.

If you’ve got a popular Aussie destination on your 2026 travel bucket list, chances are it’s part of the sale. The best deals include Sydney to Adelaide from $39, Adelaide to Melbourne from $42, Brisbane to Newcastle from $55, and Canberra to Melbourne from $75. East Coasters keen to expand their horizons can fly from Melbourne to Darwin from $164 or Perth to Sydney from $185.

Keen to go international? Jetstar is also slashing fares on flights from Australia’s major cities to overseas favourites, starting at $149 from Perth to Bali (Denpasar). For less than $200, you could also jet from Sydney to Vanuatu, Adelaide to Bali, or Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City. There are discounted fares to Manila, Rarotonga, Queenstown, Auckland, Nadi, Seoul, Osaka and Colombo up for grabs, too.

In 2026, Jetstar will launch six new routes – one domestic and five international – adding more than 460,000 new low-cost fares each year. One biggie we’re looking forward to is the Melbourne to Colombo (Sri Lanka) flight taking off in August, with fares currently on sale from $319. You can explore more destinations and dates on Jetstar’s website here.
