These days, $30 barely gets you a pub schnitty and a glass of wine. But you know what it could get you? A flight across the country! Jetstar has just announced a mega sale with one-way fares starting at just $29 – the exact same price from Jetstar’s debut launch sale in 2004. There are 29,000 bargain domestic fares up for grabs across 24 routes, plus international flights to popular hotspots from $129 (aka the price of a fancy dinner for two).

Jetstar’s Get Onboard Sale kicks off at midnight AEST on Monday, August 25 (yep, it’s worth staying up for) and runs until 11.59pm AEST on Friday, August 29 – or unless sold out prior. Club Jetstar Members will score 12 hours of exclusive early access from 12pm on Monday, August 25, and we expect the flights will be snapped up real quick.

So, where can you fly to for the price of a bowl of pasta? Jetstar’s $29 fares cover 24 domestic routes, including Adelaide to the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane to Melbourne, Hobart to Sydney, Melbourne to Ballina Byron, and Sydney to the Gold Coast. In other words, plenty of sun-soaked, beachy escapes are on the menu.

Other hot deals on sale include Brisbane to the Whitsundays from $53, Canberra to the Gold Coast from $70, Darwin to Melbourne from $152, Sydney to Darwin from $157, Cairns to Perth from $165, and Perth to the Gold Coast from $180.

If you’ve got your sights set on an international holiday, Jetstar’s got you covered with cheap fares to some of Australia’s favourite overseas spots. You could nab one-way flights to Singapore from $129, Bali from $145, Vanuatu from $199, Fiji from $205 and Auckland from $205. You’ll also find a stack of bargain flights to Vietnam, Japan and South Korea – with fares all starting under $300.

Travel dates vary per route but stretch from mid-September 2025 to mid-June 2026. You can find out more about Jetstar’s Get Onboard Sale here.
