The global sale includes 400,000 seats across Asia, the Pacific and the Americas, with fares from $359

How good does a beachside Bintang in Bali sound right now? What about floating down the romantic canals of Paris, or embarking on a coastal road trip in Los Angeles? Whatever holiday prescription the doctor ordered, Qantas has the cure. The Flying Kangaroo has just dropped a major international sale to more than 30 destinations across its global network. From the Pacific and Asia to North and South America, there are 400,000 fares up for grabs from just $359.
So, what’s the lowdown? The sale kicked off this morning and ends on Tuesday, August 4 at 11.59pm AEST (unless sold out prior). It covers travel on select dates between August 2026 and June 2027, meaning an early Euro summer is definitely on the cards for those having serious FOMO right now. But there are also plenty more incredible destinations on offer.
One-way economy fares start at just $359 from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast to Auckland, making a spontaneous easy trans-Tasman getaway to New Zealand way too easy. If island time is calling, return flights to Port Vila in Vanuatu start from $549, while trips to Nouméa (Australia’s top trending island destination) kick off from $588, also return!
For the first time ever, sale fares are up for grabs on Qantas’ brand-new non-stop Sydney to Las Vegas route, with economy return fares starting at $1,199. The Flying Kangaroo will make history as the first airline in the world to operate this direct service, running seasonally from December 29, 2026 to March 12, 2027, and shaving five hours off the current travel time.
Qantas’ global sale also includes hugely discounted flights to overseas hotspots like Tokyo, Singapore, Bali, London, Los Angeles, New York and Honolulu! You can explore more destinations and dates here.
