Ready, set, snap! Sony is bringing back its photography and filmmaking festival this year on their dedicated events platform, Scene, and everyone is invited to pick up their cameras and join the creative excitement. Plus, five lucky winners will win the ultimate Scene event experience in Rome, Italy.

Entering is a breeze and you’ll score one entry for every event you book and attend during Sony’s Scene Festival, which runs from September 1 to October 31. You’ll want to start snapping away because the more events you attend, the higher your chances of winning. 

We couldn’t think of anything better than winning a week-long trip to Rome just for getting in touch with our creative side. Each of the five lucky winners will enjoy a curated shooting experience with two Sony Scene hosts in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The ticket includes an organised trip to Italy with return flights from Sydney to Rome, accommodation and daily meals.

Sony’s Scene Festival offers just a glimpse into the possibilities that lie ahead. The program is packed full of tutorials, talks from the masters and in-depth workshops, hosted across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll have the chance to connect with passionate creators, photographers and filmmakers, and truly tap into your artistic potential.

Beginners can ease into the art of photography with introductory workshops covering landscape, portrait, astrophotography, wildlife or even editing skills. All experience levels are invited to venture outdoors and engage in hands-on learning with tutorials.

Scene Festival offers a range of exciting events, including SceneScape, Sony's consumer expo. It's back for its second year, and bigger than ever. The two-day event is set to take over White Bay Power Station from September 20-21, with tickets on offer for one- or two-day access. Get hands-on with the latest Sony gear, hear from industry experts and creators in a curated line-up of talks, panels, workshops, masterclasses and demos. 

You’ll need to create a Scene account to book tickets (it's free to sign up), but this will come in handy as a savvy sidekick for registering your Sony camera gear, receiving notifications about future events in your area, and managing any upcoming events.
