'The Image Appeared' exhibition features pictures of landscapes and books, abandoned houses, flowers and sheet music on a piano, and gardens lost behind a sealed wall – elements that evoke a memory, the elusive presence of the permanent. The painting of Luís Marsans is the result of sedimentation, careful and slow, of what's seen, felt, thought, remembered, desired, dreamt of, and lost.
