Abroad Fest: Mike Williams + Cray
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.
From March 5 to 7, Abroad Fest fills Barcelona with the best from the international electronic music scene, and it's done as usual with the festival's characteristic eye for music trends and ability to discover new stars. Abroad Fest, in fact, was the first to help artists such as Marshmello, Chainsmokers and Kaskade tour around Europe.
Closing day of the festival takes you out by the sea, specifically to Shoko, where you'll hear beats by Mike Williams, the 24-year-old DJ who has revolutionised the world of EDM, future house and future bounce from his native Netherlands. You also get Cray, on the bill. Out of Los Angeles, this video gamer turned singer, writer and producer, often plays with the most indie sounds of electronic music, as well as pop and dance in her creations, and she's said to have a musical style that's so diverse that it's hard to pin her down into just one genre.
