Bicep are an Irish duo who have been working for years out of London, but their sound evokes a much more distant and mythical land: New Jersey. It was there, in the late 1980s, where the garage house sound began to develop as an emotional offshoot of dance music that over time itself spun off a drier and more fibrous instrumental variant as strong as the muscle in their name. That means that Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson's DJs sessions give you everything – all-encompassing house delivered right to your feet, where they also get in their own pieces of complexity and abstraction, because these guys aren't just revisionists of the past.
