Mathew Jonson is one of the shiny new jewels in the crown that is the Canadian electronic scene. One thing that makes him stand out is that he comes from a jazz background and has no shame when it comes to mixing it with house, techno and whatever else moves him. He has released tracks that Larry Heard has played on Itiswhatitis and it's not bad at all. He's also got his own label along with Konrad Black, Wagon Repair, and has produced the likes of Loose Change and The Missing Link.
