Wendell Armbruster is an American businessman who is forced to travel to Italy when his father is killed in a car accident. Upon his arrival, he discovers that his father had a lover, a fact that turns his whole world upside down. The lover's daughter entering the scene adds another twist to the story... A highly entertaining comedy by the masterful Billy Wilder, featuring a skilfully constructed plot and excellent performances by the leads, Jack Lemmon and Juliet Mills. Before the screening at Sala Montjuïc, we're treated to a live jazz and bossanova concert by Anna Herrero (8.45pm).
