Walt Disney spent nearly five years working to get the rights to the novel by J.M. Barrie, and he wanted it to be the second film produced by his studios, but the great Disney ended up having to wait. Finally, it was brought to the silver screen in 1953, and it still holds up. Wendy and her little brothers travel to Neverland with Peter Pan. There they have great adventures with Tinker Bell the fairy and the Lost Boys, and they see how Peter confronts his nemesis, Captain Hook.
