16 years have gone by since the formation of this trio in December 2001. It was about time, then, for a first CD demonstrating the fantastic cohesion established between the three Ds of the Catalan jazz scene, namely Dani Pérez, David Mengual and David Xirgu. From the title, Resumen, which means “summary”, it can perhaps be deduced that this is a compendium of everything they have assimilated throughout this time under the exquisite, magical guitar of the extraordinary Dani Pérez. A musician who has always been happy to play for his colleagues, who now steps into the limelight.
