Eva Yerbabuena – Apariencias

Eva Yerbabuena, one of the most important contemporary flamenco dancers and choreographers in Spain, and winner of the National Award for Dance in 2001, presents her latest creation, 'Apariencias' ('Appearances'). Yerbabuena is back in Barcelona on the outdoor stage at the Teatre Grec to offer this energetic show with her personal stamp as an artist: pure and orthodox flamenco, minimalist stage design, avant-garde costumes and character portrayals, and onstage audiovisuals. She considers this show a turning point in her career, a show that moves through dance, live music, voice and words. Onstage she's joined by a body of dancers, musicians and singers, all participating in this journey that goes beyond the appearances of flamenco.
