Some of the most impressive voices in the world aren't always in the spotlight, something you might have learned from the 2013 music documentary 'Twenty Feet from Stardom', which tells the story of stellar singers who have spent decades singing backup for some of the biggest stars in rock and pop. Like Darlene Love and Merry Clayton, Lisa Fischer is one of those voices. Gifted with an extremely wide range and able to hit some specatcular notes, the New Yorker is well-known as a backup singer on Rolling Stones tours since 1989, and her electrifying duets with Mick Jagger are already part of rock history.
