At the request of Jamboree and the Original Jazz Orquestra (OJO) of the Taller de Músics music school, the voice of Koko-Jean Davis becomes a jazzwoman for a night to pay tribute to one of her idols, Ella Fitzgerald. A muse on the Blackcelona scene along with The Excitements, Davis is sure to impress with her repertoire of songs by La Grande Dame of jazz along with the impact of a big band. The OJO itself, under the direction of trumpet player David Pastor, is growing in consistency and maturity that's truly admirable.
