Girls Skate Camp

Vans is putting on Girls Skate Camp, a day dedicated to girls and women into skateboarding and featuring loads of activities for experts and newbies alike.

The big draw of the event are the free skateboarding classes, available to all girls and women who sign up. Plus you'll find DIY workshops to learn to make customise boards and how to make your own badges and pins. Girls and women of all ages are also invited to see skateboarding videos and a photographic exhibition, and to enjoy music from DJ Virginie, who's on hand to liven up the day and night.

Get inspiration by watching live demonstrations by big names on the local skateboarding scene along with international skaters like Britain's Amy Ram, Helena Long and Lucy Adams, as well as Shani Bru from France.

In adition to free classes for beginners, Girls Skate Camp also features Cash for Tricks this year, for women with more experience, where Vans gives out cash prizes for whoever does the best tricks with their board.
