Offering French bistro fare in a low-key yet Gallic-elegant atmosphere, this teensy restaurant has space for only 22 diners, but Berliners line up for its exquisite entrecôte, innovative seafood and an extensive selection of excellent French and German wines. Everything comes fresh from the market and the chefs aren't afraid to add slight twists to the classics. The specials are handwritten in chalk on the wall, and reservations are mandatory for the two sittings. Even Brad Pitt's a fan.

Had a wonderful dinner in this place. Looks very unassuming (even a bit shoddy) - probably wouldn't have entered if we were just passing, But what an experience. Excellent cooking, inventful without being extreme, very good and unexpected wines to go with the dishes and friendly staff. Will definitey return next time in Berlin.
