Beth Lucas is an acoustic singer-songwriter from Brisbane, heavily influenced by the hardcore/pop-punk music scene.

Her stripped-back blend of emo/pop punk, honest lyrics and DIY work ethic has earnedBeth Lucas a loyal fan base and seen her share the stage with some of America’s biggest acts, including Ben Jorgensen (Armor for Sleep), Jonah Matranga (Far/onelinedrawing), Jonny Craig (Emarosa/Dance, Gavin Dance/SLAVES), The Ghost Inside, Christian Holden (The Hotelier) and A Loss For Words, as well as Australia’s Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus), Clint Boge (The Butterfly Effect), House Vs Hurricane, Born Lion, D at Sea, Antiskeptic, and Young Lions.

After ending 2014 on a personal achievement high (playing main local support to a sold-out crowd forHawthorne Heights and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus‘ Brisbane show), Beth Lucas entered the new year headlining an all-girl lineup at The Brightside, as well as a handful of acoustic nights at Sabotage SocialandCrowbar Black.

The second half of 2015 saw Beth Lucas selected as main local support for New York pop-punk heavyweightsState Champs, fresh off their national tour with 5 Seconds of Summer. She also closed a short East Coast run of shows at Tape Deck Fest ’15 in Melbourne, which boasted an epic lineup including Trophy Eyes, As It Is, andWith Confidence.

Most recently, Beth Lucas fulfilled a decade-long dream of playing with Kisschasy on their final ever Brisbane show at The Triffid, and has just been announced to open for Jon Toogood (SHIHAD).
