Georg Josef Riedel is the tenth-generation owner of the Riedel glassware company, which has been in business since 1756. He is in Australia for a whirlwind tour to celebrate the 260-year anniversary of the family business.
This Thursday October 27, Georg will host a wine-tasting event at the Brisbane Marriott. He will demonstrate how the size and shape of your glass affects wines and other beverages. You’ll get to taste pinot noir, shiraz and cabernet from the right glasses – and the wrong ones – and see the huge difference it makes.
There’s also wine and chocolate pairing with Riedel global partner Lindt, as well as a Coca-Cola demonstration.
The $149 ticket price includes a set of four Riedel wine glasses and a Nachtmann tumbler to take home, valued at $239.
Oenophiles won’t want to miss this fun and exclusive event with a world expert in wine-enhancing glassware.
