19 year old singer-songwriter, Emily Wurrumarra is a proud Indigenous performer from Groote Eylandt, Northern Territory. Who wrote her first song at nine years of age, Emily sings with heart and honesty, striving to share her stories and experiences through her original music. She has performed alongside Lili Kendall, Sue Ray and Sahara Beck at BEMAC and at various community events. In 2011, she was guest performer for impossible odds at Inala Festival. In 2013 she performed alongside Shellie Morris and the Borroloola women at Woodford folk festival and in 2014 performed alongside Bernard Fanning from Powder Finger at Clancestry.
