Following the release of the highly anticipated album Node, Northlane have announced their first Australian headline tour in 18 months. Stopping by The Triffid on 14 November, the Node tour will also feature heavyweights August Burns Red (USA), with further support from Like Moths To Flames (USA), Buried In Verona and Ocean Grove.

Last embarking on Australian performances during Groovin The Moo earlier this year, the Node tour will be the first Northlane headline shows since the highly successful Free Your Mind tour in May 2014. Despite the Sydney-based five-piece having toured all over the world in 2015, this tour will mark the first domestic headline performance for new vocalist, Marcus Bridge.

Following the success of the intimate listening sessions held for the release of Node, the band will offer a special VIP experience at all shows of the tour. The additional package will provide the most curious and dedicated of fans an opportunity to meet the band, engage in conversation and have items signed by all members. Each VIP ticket includes exclusive and collectable merchandise, with the premium level VIP package including a limited-edition custom jewellery piece created at the band’s direction by boutique Australian jewellery house, Broken Lock.

Indeed, this tour is the culmination of a well-documented transformation for the band. Against much conjecture about the band’s ability to advance to the next level, the ensuing storm of publicity surrounding Node has illustrated the marked excitement around the band’s progression.

Last week, Node was feature album on national radio station Triple J, coinciding with the band guest-hosting iconic ABC television program, RAGE. This month, Northlane feature on the cover of Blunt Magazine. Today, they have released yet another visually spectacular video for Impulse.
