Jericco, Sydonia, Villainy Tour - November 2015

Australian and New Zealand forces of rock unite on a three-way, two weekend tour de force - Melbourne's Jericco & Sydonia and Auckland-based New Zealanders Villainy have announced a tour together in November 2015.

The past 18 months have been huge for all three bands and tackling Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide together was a proposition too good to miss. All three artists have released full-length, critically-acclaimed albums, all have toured extensively and all have enjoyed the spotlight.

Jericco this year released their opus 'Machine Made the Animal', which saw play on triple j and Triple M. Rolling Stone Australia called Jericco "one of the more interesting heavy bands in the country right now." Killyourstereo.com said that their album "...oozes with an energy that would provide a killer live show." The sentiments were echoed when they took to the stage at Bigsound 2015. Their album tour took them all over the country, selling out rooms and turning heads all over.

In the past 18 months, Sydonia have released their sophmore Long Player 'Reality Kicks' and toured the hell out of it, enjoyed long-term radio love from triple j's The Racket, Triple M, AndrewHaugRadio and more, a spot at Bigsound 2014 as well as supports with Trivium, In Flames, Hed PE,Snot, Dream on, Dreamer, Voyager and more. That's not even mentioning their pedigree of touring the country with Lamb of God, Korn, Slipknotand Stone Sour. With a new album well on the way, they aren't far from the world stage. In the words of heavy music site Metal as Fuck... "Potential world domination alert..."

Villainy are one of New Zealand's most awarded and best rock crews. They have shared the stage with Incubus, The Offspring, Billy Talent,Seether and Shihad and are now bringing their brand new album 'Dead Sight' (produced by Tom Larkin) to Australian audiences for the first time. Their previous album 'Mode. Set. Clear.' (also produced by Larkin) took home the 2013 Best Rock Album at the NZ Music Awards and their first foray to Australia came with Bigsound 2013. 'Syria' and 'Safe Passage' the singles from 'Dead Sight' have both been on high rotation on NZ's biggest commercial rock station, The Rock. 'Dead Sight' will be released in Australia on Friday October 30.
